602PCGA SQUADRON BLOOD LETTING

Annual Blood Letting Activity was organized by the 602.5 Division (VMA GLOBAL COLLEGE) last February 22,2008 during the foundation anniversary of the college in cooperation with the Philippine National Red Cross-Bacolod Chapter. This yearly activity was organized by the VMA Civic Action Group for Emergency Response Services (CAGERS) under the Amlig Kabuhi Project of the college headed by CAPT FERDINAND M. TURBANOS,PCGA who happens to be the coordinator of the VMA Extension Services and LTSG SHIRLY COMEROS,PCGA who is currently serving as Co-Adviser of the VMA CAGERS and CWTS Coordinator.

Two hundred ninety one (291) successful blood donors participated in this activity making it the bloodiest blood letting activity in the PNRC history in the Island of Negros. A similar activity was also organized last August 04,2007 with 242 blood donors garnering the PNRC Distinguished Humanitarian Service Award for the year 2007 . VMA Global Collge is in its 10th year of organizing this noble project for the purpose of saving lives.
